Very pleased to get some plants into our new planters while there's still plenty of summer left - it's all getting quite maximalist and certainly brightening the place up. Many thanks to (everyone's favourite Streatham civic group) Streatham Action, for linking us up with the funding for materials

The #Streatham Common paddling pool's own team of artists will be at the Rookery's midsummer market on Saturday 21st June, workshopping new designs for the pool wall - find them and help them (also loads of other stuff to do, look at, and eat) from 10am

Paddling numbers have fallen to almost zero this week, amid a little bit of drizzle. Almost 150 were at the pool in Saturday afternoon's sun. The data will inevitably raise questions over the commitment of the #Streatham paddling community. Early days yet in the season, but sterner stuff required.

Excellent conditions for paddling today in #Streatham. Great to see so many paddlers, novice and experienced, take to the pool. More of the same expected for Saturday, from 10am. In the meantime, do you want to watch the pool filling up last week? Of course you do, why even ask.

The #Streatham Common paddling pool opens today for the 2025 season! The wind and rain are back at last so we thought we'd get it open. You may paddle from 10am until 6pm, when paddling must cease.
