Tawas State Park is slowly being eaten by Lake Hurons' rising levels and erosion.
Lake Huron with rising water levels and shoreline erosion is destroying this beautiful park. The impact is plainly evident at the beach along Lake Huron, which has reconfigured the shoreline in a way to render parts of it almost unrecognizable from past years.The water is eating away at the beaches which are collapsing into the lake. Trees are under water, and new water formations are developing on land. Some of the penninulsa's beaches are no longer safe to even swim due to steep abrupt dropoffs.

Brockway Mountain is in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, offering stunning views of Lake Superior and the Keweenaw Peninsula. It's the highest point above sea level between the Alleghenies and the Rockies.

Glorious Steam Locomotive No. 5588. Built in 1911. Retired in 1961. She stands tall in the Windsor Waterfront Park. Windsor, Ontario, Canada
This Pacific Type 4-6-2 Steam Locomotive is dedicated to the memory of glorious Steam Train Canadian Railroading and to the citizens of Windsor. No. was built in the Montreal Locomotive Works in 1911 for the Canadian National Railways and saw many years of freight and passenger service in Southern Ontario before being retired in 1961.
