Oh, I've also recruited another convert to the cult of Cabal. I gave a friend the Blustery Day anthology and the 1st novel for Christmas and she's already asking for more. Muhahahaha

The inmates definitely run the asylum over here now, and they're the playing with their own feces inmates.

If he's why my subscription price went up, hang 'em.

Agreed. The level of capitulation and fear among everyone in a position to stand up to this petty thug is incomprehensible. No one respects history. Appeasement never works, never has never will. Also, anyone who thinks all will go back to normal when his term is up is fooling themselves.

For almost a decade my daily prayer has been that someone would punch this scumbag square in the nose, preferably on live TV.

It is so f'ing embarrassing to be an American

As a guy, I prefer the FMF variation but I don't know if there's a specific term for that.

As an American, looking back on this past year the thing that I simply cannot wrap my brain around is the level of capitulation to the to all the insanity. Appeasement never works!!! And anyone here in the US thinking that this will all blow over after 2028, I got news for you, it won't.

Yeah, and with his decorating taste he has made the White House look like a tacky whorehouse.

Very interesting, and I was just in NYC to visit a friend and see Jimmy Carr live. I hope I get to visit London one day.

I can't estimate size but that's Shelob. She eats Hobbits and children.

The first amendment is barely clinging to life. Doctors are doubtful that the 200+ year old right of free speech will survive. Gone are the days when people in this country held firm to the belief, "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it."

I've never read about that aspect of WWII but very early in my career I worked with an elderly woman who grew up during that occupation. She never went into great detail but she made it clear it was a nightmare.

Sounds like someone I've heard of recently.

Yes, yes it is.

Can you say Ross Perot?

Now I own all the Audible recording, hardback copies of all the novels, and his are the only books I reread.

A very Happy Birthday to my favorite necromancer, Johannes Cabal. While I don't exactly recall what first drew me to his books, I do remember the first one I listened to (as I got it through Audible) was "The Blustery Day".

I still haven't had a chance to see it yet. Hopefully soon.

Sorry I missed it. I was traveling. I hope you're having a fantastic birthday. 😁
