I took both of these in the same location over a year apart with the same lens - one with the intention of being a bit more dreamy feeling, one more realistic, both affected by the texture and distortion of a lens that's older than me

One day, I wanna take character portraits for an AP cast. Not exactly like these one's from Power Rangers 2017, but in the sense of "Cast portraits inspired by the thing they're in, meant to be used solely as promotional material for this project" it is what I'd love to work on as a photographer
The character portraits from the promotional materials for the Power Rangers movie released in 2017. Each poster is a close up of one of the actors, each one lit with the corresponding color to the ranger they are portraying, each with a lightning bolt (from the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers logo) over their face serving as the only place where they are lit with naturally colored lighting. Off to the side of all of their faces is the name of the character they are portraying.

Here's a couple older ones too that I just really like! The group one is from a sci-fantasy game I ran 2 years ago. They were the party's rivals, but the party unfortunately only got to meet half of them before the game fizzled out
A group of 6 science fantasy mercenary/assassin characters including: A big ass alligator man in a Cowboy hat with a sawed off shotgun, a big woman with a big sword and tattoos, an androgynous long-coat wearing person with a drawn pistol, a Humanoid frog man holding a flag with some strange symbols on it, a short bearded individual with a cybernetic arm operating tech with a cocky demeanor, and an older man with weathered and worn armor with pieces that glow green and a laser sword in hand. A very jolly looking tiefling with thick hair and a notable goatee/mustache combo in colorful robes and a lyre in hands. They look like they're quite proud of the music they're about to play for you. From a modern day set fantasy game, a descendant of the jersey devil boasts goat-like features in addition to bat wings on a humanoid frame. They have a spiked bracelet and a scuffed up baseball bat swung over their shoulder. They look like they're irritated by the conversation that interrupted their game. A mysterious, heavily disguised archer. Aside from their golden breastplate and exposed arms, they're boarding a large scarf, hood and a cape concealing the bottom half of their face as well as their hair. They're pulling another arrow from the quiver on their hip, looking off to the distance with a bow in their other hand at the ready.

Some fantasy heroforge minis I've made recently
A large, kind Orcish gentleman with a scar along his face smiles as he shows off some of his wares: a potion and a gemstone in this particular case A thieving catboy with a large mane of red hair, like if a lion were Humanoid and ginger. He looks grumpy, with furrowed, bushy eyebrows. He only has half a cape, as it seems to have been torn from whatever shenanigans he's gotten himself into. a tiefling shopkeeper whose skin has splotches of purple against an overall light brown tone. They only have one crooked horn that emerges from the one purple spot on their head. They're holding their hand out for an exchange, and in the other hand is a pouch of money. Their expression is neutral, if not a little sad. A short, bluish-purple skinned lady with heavy eyeliner, and an even heavier spiked bludgeon slung over her shoulder. She has thick hair poking out of the back of her bandana and she stands as tall as she can, as if she's daring someone to question her prowess.
