and/or people who watch them for more horror aspects but i believe it DID have those, just not the og point of making men scared of physical assault and stalking the same way a woman is every time she comes outside. those are feminist movies after all.

i think the only people who dislike badlands are people who ignore the topics of predator franchise in the name of watching them as just alien/action films.

as someone whose top 3 predator movies included both predator 1 and 2, i loved badlands. it revived my love for the franchise. it had 1st movie's idea of overcoming toxic masculinity, and 2nd's topic of struggling against authority.
