My sadness and hurt have turned into anger. I am sad that these teachable moments and opportunities for real allyship are protected by white fragility and white savior complexes. Change is not happening in that space, it is replicating and justifying systems of harm and oppression.

Settlers, revision under capitalism is not your savior.

Indigenous pedagogy is antithetical to capitalism.

Extraction is not relational.

You cannot revise a system built on the bones of our ancestors - the people, the animals, the polluted waterways.
