We came the closest we’ve come in a very long time to electing a democratic governor this last election. At least that’s progress. Although, it probably didn’t hurt that the democratic nominee was related to Elvis! 😂

I’m here in Jackson and we now kind of have safe water to drink. We still get occasional boil water notices, but not nearly as often. Also, I now have to use a VPN to access Bluesky since it has been completely blocked in Mississippi as of this weekend. (NOT bluesky’s fault!)

The cork is actually water-resistant, so it does absolutely fine in both the rain and snow. To clean you usually just need a damp cloth, but you can also use a gentle soap (such as Dawn) and rinse with water. :)
