Gonna sound pretentious here, but I think general audiences have gotten too narcissistic. There's zero patience and trust from people who claim to be locked in and fans of the creator. The second the food isn't to their exact liking, they throw the plate at the chef. It's childish.

yes! it’s also frustrating because a lot of the conversations go “this serves NO purpose” “there’s NO reason to address it at this point/this early” instead of expressing you don’t have faith it will be addressed later or you have a preference for a more linear structure.
