Hello bluesky! The Devil’s Accountant is a digital card game I am working on. You are the Devil’s bookkeeper and your employer wants you to “cook the numbers” in order to send as many souls as possible to hell.

My first solo game is out now!

You are Hell’s newest bookkeeper, overworked, under-appreciated, and mysteriously sentenced to eternal torment for your creative financial practices. Can you condemn enough souls in order to save your own?

Sister Eulalia is widely regarded as a martyr and protector but with a little creative license around the events of her life she could just as easily be cast as a sinner.

I'm preparing the game for testing on the Play Store and App Store. Looking forward to get some feedback, iron out any issues and move toward the release!

Saint Lumina will stand in your way very early in the game. With her insistence on "helping" people and an air of moral superiority, she may prove more irritating than truly challenging.

Trying to escape Hell as the devil's accountant you will need to face some terrible foes. Committed holy characters who resist temptation and need some extra persuasion to be turned into sinners.

In Devil's Accountant you use your bookkeeping prowess to convert a series of powerful exalted figures into sinners and move up the ranks of hell with the hope of one day escaping the underworld.

Today was the first time I played the game I’m making and I had fun. It’s a good feeling seeing all the systems come together after all this work and a sense of fun and accomplishment emerging through play.

My guilty pleasure in coding: Moving a single line of code a few lines up and suddenly, the interaction just feels right.

Today’s realization: When you start a new habit or routine, it’s not just about the immediate impact it has on your life. There’s also a secondary layer of change that comes from mastering it over time. This second layer is not always apparent in the beginning.

What a turnaround for typos and grammatical mistakes. After years of being irritants, they are now quaint and charming evidence that the text was written by a human being.

I’ve implemented a scoring system where every time you collect 10 coins, they are replaced by a single coin worth 10 points. The original 10 coins go back to your coin pool.

I drew up a new character for the Devil's Accountant. The demon is a very useful ally for the accountant because he can help you corrupt even the most virtuous characters.

I recently played Thank Goodness You’re Here by @coalsupper.bsky.social and it’s probably the game I’ve enjoyed playing on the switch the most. Loved the eccentric characters, delicious art, surreal twists and polished smooth gameplay.

I love these early bluesky days where mostly the people who are running away from x are here. I hope they last

I've been in Seoul for nearly a month, and one thing that stands out for me is how they transform otherwise harsh, inhuman infrastructure into vibrant green spaces with pathways for cute strolls.

I’m working on a new mechanic where characters are more (or less) virtuous and they require more than one sin to be condemned. Here the Undertaker needs to sin three times to be sent to hell. Characters who commit good deeds might become more virtuous and thus harder to punish.
