Yes, I’ve looked at that and that’s a great suggestion. Many times I’ve heard comparisons can be hard to use without inflating your work as well but that would be a great baseline to start from. Thanks!

I think there is a balance to both. Relatable draws me into the struggles of the character and the escapism draws me into the world.

I think this is the hardest part, I wish I had an answer for you but between cover art and marketing I’ve never seen a “profit” myself. It may come down to the best way to get your book in front of those who will read it. Still figuring that out too
