Only in an idealistic world does college teach consciousness to students with any regularity. College is a reliable signal of family money though.

The wealth needs to be distributed earlier in the process. Cutting executive compensation in half (and distributing it as compensation to all the employees) is where the cycle stops at scale.

In my experience, valence of a thing is determined before I’m aware of the thing. A part of me decides if a thing is good or bad and when I become consciously aware of that thing, the good/bad decision is already a part of the concept in my mind.
