Soooooo true. If you look vlose the rooster is guarding the hen that sleeps in the lower nesting box. Never roosts!

I think the trend is people either not knowing what chickens need, like space and the number of nesting boxes, or building those giant coops that look like fancy living rooms. 🤣 I would love a giant coop with a clean chandelier! But i think all is done with love of chickens. ❤️

We're smoking a duck and turkey legs and hubs is braising rabbit. I am culturally stressed. I just keep hearing the song " I got greens, beans, potatoes, tomatoes, chicken, chicken..." in my head. An older woman i know made a spread from turkey to sweet potato pie just for herself! High bar!
