The GBA & DS version of the games are completely different- but based in the same world!
The GBA version is thought to be a 'prequal' - although your DS Sim has no relation to the GBA story.
Strange Town however is similar, but not the same!

I will have a look through the texture file rips, but I'm a little sad I can't find a decent image of the Strangetown emblem that's on the floor of the town hall.
I would love to hand out stickers and even make a patch of it for fans! (Non profit ofc)

I was actually a coder on this, my first real gamedev job! Lead producer was Dan McAuliffe, who shared not only the same name as me but, quite annoyingly, the same birthday
