An update and some context.

Just to give context to my situation. My partner has been unemployed since January and he ran out of savings around June. So I have been the soul provider for about 5 months now and my wage straight up isn’t enough for our needs and I’m now eating away at my savings. At this rate I need to get a second job just to break even. Of course life likes to fuck up my survival plans. My cat that I’ve had for 12 years developed fluid in her lungs back in January. I took her to the vet and got some meds(while also dealing with getting a new car because my old one got totaled the day of her initial vet visit.) We got the fluid out by May, but she seemed to have also developed asthma. Since then she has been on a steroid pill which worked great, until today. The fluid is now back and worse than last time. We’re going to do both types of meds and hope she improves some by next week. We may have to take her to a specialist to ultrasound her heart and figure out what’s wrong. But I don’t have money for all this. Today it cost $350, next week will also be about $350, and the specialist will likely be $600+. It’s just us, we don’t have any family or friends that we can lean on, and I try super hard to be independent and not be a burden to others. We’ve both been looking for new full time jobs, but I don’t think there’s enough time and I don’t know what to do anymore. So I’m very sincerely asking for help from anyone who can. I set the donation minimum to $3. If you can help I would really appreciate it and if you can’t please spread this to those who can. My black and white tuxedo cat.
