Finally finished restoring my old bike! Did a full teardown, stripped and polished the frame, swapped out cables and re-greased everything...

Behold, the final form for that old Helix riser, refinished in mirror polish. Super happy with the result!

Recurve bow riser seen at the grip. Riser is polished metal and the grip is a shiny sparkly black. Second riser shot with the Helix model name. Raw riser metal just after stripping the anodizing out. Initial state with red-black anodizing - incredibly difficult to remove. The bow also came with an older grip style in wood.

I got some new Uukha limbs, tweaked my stabilization and found a way to shoot in a less shit way. Finally getting red-circle-sized groups at 70m! #archery

Today's #archery experiment is adding a gasket to my sight aperture to make the tunnel much smaller. I kept aiming off center - the fix is in!

I'm finally done refinishing this Hoyt Helix riser. Looks amazing, feels amazing to shoot. Really happy with how it turned out!

Went to an #archery competition again. Finally blew past 500 points - 518! Elimination rounds started well but I didn't make it to the semifinals. Next time!

Got the brand new RCore grip to go on the riser. Doesn't fit perfectly but that's fortunately easy to fix!
