I would say find a Linux Distro that is built around being Windows friendly like Linux Mint. I prefer Ubuntu but that UI is more Mac like. I **think** if you did a YouTube search about installing Linux it could probably walk you through things.

I am some form of Christian. I was part of the evangelical world for over 15 years and many of the people I knew from that time are quite possibly cheering the loudest. I wish they could see things from the place I do right now.

There are multiple people on a work NFL chat I am on who don't believe that Jordan Love is a starting-caliber NFL QB. One of them is a Steelers fan who posted a lot of trash talk on Friday and whose first post today was how the refs screwed over the Steelers.

Breaking in would be hard, I think, in the current environment. If you have the time and energy (and a laptop) you might be able to after proving your skills in the open source world.
