Hiting us with the Entry Level questions huh?

I wonder if it will have lines like:

"That's my leg"
followed by
"ow ow oW oW OW OW OW OW!"

I think that happens to the majority of Tenno, even at high MR.

Especially when they keep adding more and more mods. lol

Currently (Nov 9th, 2024) Unemployed.

Would love a job with some mentorship, because I KNOW that I don't know everything and I might need support.

Willing to learn any language on the job. (As I have done in the past)

I'll be support for the seniors doing the hard work, I don't mind.

Hmmm... list is getting long, here is part 2:
Civilization 1-5 (I have 6, didn't like, not bothering with 7)
Sid Meier's Pirates!
Warframe
World of Warships
Minecraft
Honkai: Star Rail
Goat Simulator 1 & 3 (Also loved what they did with 2!)
Sims 4
Among Us
Mario Kart
Toontown
Rift

And many others!

Lots of good advice already.

DIY is typically the right choice, but warning, had a friend try to do that without any help and kept messing up because they kept buying incompatiable parts. Research is your friend there.

Prebuilts is more $$$, but less hassle? (GL finding trustworthy company)

Love when job boards can't even get their own code right to help out entry level devs. I have so many examples just from Indeed dot com alone.

Ah, the true pain of trying to search for hours trying to find the missing ')' that is fucking up your code.

Stopped playing once I got to Penacony, where mind manipulation started getting VERY heavy.

Gave me the creeps...

*game kills you in real life*

Well... that's new. *dies*
November 8, 2024 at 5:06 PM
Hmmm... that depends on the game, imho. Open world games, for example, might be too large for them to get the bugs out. So the players help out there. You would need thousands in QA alone for gamesize.

And chapter installments.

But smaller games, like minesweeper for example, should be.

Appy for as many scholarships that you can.

If they say no, just take pride that you made the attempt.

Scholarships would just cut down the cost of trying to pay out of your own pocket. Try not to go into the blackhole of student loans, if you can. It can be tough getting out...

Deleted my initial post, because I thought I saw someone mentioned online, and thought 'oh wait, was this the first online ff that they did, and I misremembered?'.

Nope, it was FF12 that had the gambit system.

I really should check out the newer FF games...

Both loved and hated the gambit system. lol

Loved because my programmer brain built the gambit for each character into an absolute powerhouse. Nothing could stop them.

Hated because it made the game too easy. Also didn't help when the final boss was a sub-boss in FF4.

Subnautica is a pretty fun survival game, but it did reintroduce bugs back into the game when they were making "Below Zero" (that game I personally do not recommend, but try it out and form your own opinion).

Hopefully you'll enjoy it... at least past the bugs anyway.

Hmmm... being nervous on first contact can be a little difficult.

Co-op games with random players may help but saying hi can still be difficult.

Sometimes it might require a friend to help. Or wait for someone to ask you if you want to play <random game>.

Like Warframe on Fri or Sat. Good luck!
