NYC voting on the back of the ballot cheat sheet (2 of 2) - questions 5 & 6
Proposal #5 this is a good idea so the poster recommends voting YES on adopting a digital city map. DCP already hosts a lot online. The devil is in the details here though because if the very important City map is hosted on a private service like ESRI ArcGIS, Google, or AWS, the City of NY is susceptible to disruptive service outages or price gouging by private companies year over year for providing the hosting services. Anyhow, vote yes! Proposal #6 - poster recommends voting HELL NO on proposal #6. NYC off year local elections allow for discussion of municipal issues, which would be drowned out in presidential years. Off year elections also allow NYC to negotiate with Albany for funding during a time where everyone isn’t running for re-election. NYC, NJ AND VA get our own year, we run the conversation. Let’s keep it that way! Vote NO!

For proposal #1, the only statewide proposal, the poster recommends voting yes. For proposal #2, regarding PUBLICLY FUNDED affordable housing, the poster recommends voting yes to fast-track publicly funded affordable housing Proposal #3, modest housing and infrastructure projects, the proposal does not specify public/private funding for these projects so we can assume this would be a gift to private developers and so the poster recommends voting no on proposal #3 Proposal #4, establish affordable housing appeals board, this proposal seems like a power grab by the mayors office and we know typical NYC mayors are scumbags, so this proposal makes the poster’s spidy senses tingle anticipating rank corruption related to approvals/appeals. Because this seems like too much power transferred to a few people with lots of power already, the poster recommends voting NO on proposal #4

You’re right, it was great. Crust light and crisp, but with some chew, nice flavor. Sauce was tart, not sweet, and flavorful, cheese was a nice mild blend. They don’t do slices! Oh well, I ate a small pie

Finally checked out a game at the historic Hinchcliffe Stadium in Paterson NJ - which has a cool museum detailing the stadium’s Negro Leagues history. Very cool!
