Recovered two porpoises yesterday- both live stranded within a few miles of each other on the north Kent coast last week. Both on thin side, interesting wounds on the younger porpoise... #CSIoftheSea exams at @zslscience.bsky.social next week, many thanks to our BDMLR friends for their help!

New paper out today lead authored by my brilliant CSIP colleague @rosiewilliams.bsky.social 👇 Long term 30+ year analysis of trace metal levels in harbour porpoises, found increasing levels of mercury which were associated with an increased risk of infectious disease related mortality.
