Agreed. I believe the DLC economy system we all love to hate prevented the base game price from following inflation throughout the 2010's.

On the other hand, it might be interesting to see how it compares with piracy rates.

yeah that's very well put. still frustrating (bc limited time on earth etc), but well said.

and yes, often the best solutions are simple, they just have some prerequisite unbeknownst to beginners

Imo the hard part is knowing how to setup an unperfect thing that won't give yourself suicidal ideas when trying to refactor it.

Sometimes the initial iteration is just not the correct solution and needs to beredone from scratc. that's kinda scary to me, because I know I won't have the motivation.

yeah it's so cool.

and the cherry on top is that (unless i misunderstood) it's available on all render modes

The glb/gltf default import options are also lacking a lot of stuff despite being the recommended format. I think that's the main stuff that bothers me.

If it was an obscure format, I think only having custom import scripts as workaround would be more acceptable.

Hey, thanks for your answer.
Through what channel could I find support or discuss bugs ? Are there forums/discord ?
May 21, 2025 at 5:39 AM
Is the part about current supported engine version up to date ? Is so, any eta for 4.4 support ?
May 13, 2025 at 7:33 AM
I'd try to go with K8S (and the associated IAC/CICD tooling) as much as possible and keep VMs only for edge cases and legacy stuff that wouldn't tolerate K8S.

Yeah, a too broad and time consuming advice is generally not a good one.

What does playing means here ? Studying a genre ? Just playing to relax ?

Which game in lots of games ? Games the same genre ? Different genre ?

What even is "lots" ? 10 ? 50 ? 100 ?

Unrelated, the art style is amazing

Oh yes I forgot that need !
For this usecase there's no debate, profile are so great.

I got tunnel vision'd on the user management.

I can't explain why they don't do that then (excluding soft where greed is the main reason for any choices).
January 26, 2025 at 5:56 PM
Some soft are only based on user session for such settings which means you don't need multiple license to operate separately.

If the account is locked behind an email auth to download those preferences, then yes I agree. But then you have your answer on why they won't implement this kind of stuff.

C'est ça, un côté une génération pas assez sensibilisée, de l'autre côté une génération qui fait l'autruche (quand elle n'adhère pas).

Omg thank you ! I failed to do this just with a vertex color layer a week ago, happy to see I wasn't totally mistaken on the path to take !!
January 18, 2025 at 2:08 PM
Superb ! For the outline/edge detection did you base yourself on something pre existant or a specific algorithm ?
January 18, 2025 at 11:49 AM
If your only alternative was Jenkins then yeah.

Compared to moderns ci integrations tho ? Not so much
