We talk about all of this more on today’s episode, but we’re taking this time to really re-energize ourselves and the pod ahead of next season. We’re really excited to revamp Straight Up Sabres and have some really cool ideas in the works for next season!

At the end of the day, what matters most to us is putting out a good product that the two of us are proud of & believe in. It’s wild that we still have such a dedicated listener base despite the team being so bad, and we’re truly beyond grateful for you all who’ve stuck around.

We’ve been doing twice a week for the past six years and the Sabres have sniffed the playoffs once in that time. Recapping games twice a week when they’re out of contention by January has been frustrating, and frankly has felt like it’s diminished our product a bit.
