Tell me your biggest ick as a pet parent
May 22, 2025 at 10:30 PM
Why would you ever want your dog to be afraid of you?

Fear isn’t training. It’s trauma.
We don’t build trust by overpowering our dogs—we build it by listening to them.

Your dog isn’t your project.
They’re your partner.

Kindness isn’t weakness—it’s leadership.

Having hard conversations about our pet’s care sucks. What is a topic you have a hard time with but have questions about? Drop them below and I’ll answer what I can or direct you to someone who can! Ask the hard questions. Ask the questions you think are weird. No judgement here.

Wow. What a year. As I celebrate a year of podcast episodes and 1 year since beginning my journey as a dog trainer I am a little dumbstruck by all of the amazing things that have happened this year. I’m so grateful for all of the friends I have made and the lessons I have learned. Cheers to 2025

I don’t feel guilty for leaving my dogs at home when I have things todo. It would be much more complicated and take more time to bring them most places. They get a treat and a toy and they get excited when I leave instead of upset. What about you?

Some memories are too precious to leave to chance. 💛 Having photos taken of Toby, Fitz, and me captured the quiet moments that mean everything—Toby’s calm, Fitz’s energy, and our bond. It’s the little things—the looks, the wagging tails—that I’ll cherish forever. Don’t wait to capture yours. 📸

Every day, I make decisions for my dogs that may differ from yours—breed, likes, price, convenience, or preference. As long as there’s no abuse, the choice is yours. My advice is just my opinion and experience. I’m here to help, not judge.
