After playing Monster Hunter Wilds I was thinking also wanna try Parallax Occlusion + haircards and see where it lands cos they use a custom solution for it.
there are better examples but I don’t have them at hand now…

Here you haveit! hair is hard... even somewhat stylized, with a custom technique to place haircards.... and also some preliminar RnD I did... some investigation... and why not... some interesting failures... you always get those eventually ^^

After trying MonsterHubter Wilds with Keyboard and mouse… i decided to get me a gamepad.
If you only have 5 fingers on each hand is imposible to play it with keyboard!

I was totally unaware of this 3dsMax modifier.
Affect Region.
It has two points to control the direction and affection of the effect, old school for real but so convenient seems to handle contact between two objects or other creative stuff.
