Hi! I’m Sto, fantasy enthusiast and lover of clowns 🌿🦄🤡

I can always be found making art about my beloved characters & fantasy stories. I draw digitally & traditionally, and also like printmaking, creative coding, and fabrication 💚 I play the occasional video game too 🧚‍♀️

Prototyping something very exciting 🪲🪴💐‼️Lasercutter + RISO + bookbinding = my very first artbook zine!!! (Ignore the page tear in the first photo 🤫)
Dangling from my hand are four small pages bound accordion style. The pages show RISO printed illustrations of my original character, Honey Locust. In the background is a a frosted glass window covered with a decal of colorful leaves. A lasercut birchwood book cover rests on top of one of the RISO prints. An intricate botanical motif is cut into the cover, and details of the illustrated page below can be seen through the cut-out holes. Honey Locust’s face is shown through a large quatrefoil hole centered in the top third of the wooden cover. Two of the same laser cut cover design, lying next to each other within a larger birchwood sheet on the laser cutter bed.

Honey Locust mixed media wip 💚☘️🐛 #oc
A half-finished illustration or my OC, Honey Locust. He takes up most of the space of a piece of paper, which has warped slightly from me using water to blend colored pencils :p. Locust looks somewhat peeved and stands with his hands on his hips. He wears a small pink vest—only the right half of the vest has been decorated with swirly floral motifs. His pants are baggy and held up by a rope belt and his hat is small and boxlike with a big puffball sitting on top.

A digital drawing of my original character, Honey Locust, captures him gazing off into the distance with a melancholic expression. His long, thick hair sways in the wind to the right, in the opposite direction from his gaze. Much of the illustration is intentionally unfinished—the pastel yellow of his body stops just below his clavicle, while his chest and hand remain outlined but uncolored. The same illustration as before but with much sharper and thicker lines.
