I didn't really understand the link between Antisemitism and nationalists until I read these two pages from a book about Adolf Eichmann. So when the Claremont Institute's chair promotes an anti-intellectual column, who is he really taking aim at? More clear with his piece on the "Soros empire".

If one looks at the topics that the Claremont Institute's chairman, Tom Klingenstein, writes about they'll find it full of blood and soil topics and anti-Semitic dog whistles. Anti intellectual, blaming the bureaucratic class or the managerial class, anti-1619 project, pro economic nationalism

Change the name to Martin Shkreli or the Sackler's who had anything to do with Purdue or Heather Bresch (Epipen price hikes). These people, including the UHC CEO, have all caused harm to many, many people. Pro assassin? No. Lack of sympathy for him and some understanding of why someone would act

Critical thinking isn't how they arrived at their current belief system. Many of them follow a religion that is actively anti-critical thinking and promotes believing without evidence. Years of marinating in that = people vulnerable to "say it and they believe it"
