I think being bitten certainly guarantees zombification. But I also think if you cook the zombie’s flesh at a high enough temperature, you may be able to avoid infection. Idk, I could be wrong.

Hey, it’s alright. As long as you’re okay. These past few days have been crazy in America and it’s frightening. But we have still have each other to lean on. Fascism sucks, but we’ve beaten it before. Let’s hope that we can overcome it again.
