Here's a recent print of San Francisco's Compton's Cafeteria circa 1966, to honor the 1966 riots for trans rights and queer dignity.

Late again for #printpromptmonday This week is #text. The news today is pretty rough. I'm grateful for bell hooks&their words that bring me hope. I'm proud to be trans&queer. I'm also terrified, but I'll continue to do my best to find creative ways to thrive and to live.

this week for #printpromptmonday with the theme of #portrait here's a very old reduction woodblock print. Love the impermanence of a reduction, but admittedly a bit sad I can't ever print this one again.

A bit late, but determined to dip my toe into my first (but hopefully one of many) #printpromptmonday This week's theme is #water. Here's a seahorse woodblock from this past summer.

Shame it was done quietly...but cool that a few weeks after I finished my Compton's cafeteria woodblock that the landmark spot was officially put on the National Historic Register.

WIP:A friend has been sharing this most excellent pair, an unlikely duo: Hugo and LP. Hugo's an iguana, LP is a kitten (quickly growing into a cat) that the family dog found stuck in a fence... They're best buds and share a heat rock... they're giving me life right now.

Resistance is part of our history. Woodblock prints of Compton's Cafeteria and Cooper's Do-nut's. What do you want to see next? Stonewall wasn't the first, and wasn't the last. We will persist in our existing.

working on a new block for my queer resistance history series. This one's my Compton's cafeteria wip.

Version 2.0 of the "Fix your hearts or die." print
Three woodblock prints on black paper. Image is an interpretation of the Red room in the Black Lodge from the David Lynch series Twin Peaks. Felt like the right thing to make this week...

Representation matters! Had so much fun running the Golden 6 hour yesterday and even managed to win the non-binary category...not bad for my first event post-break.
