I don't like piracy. Better If i pay 1 cent per music track I listen in Spotify to artists, then nothing.

My man, nowadays in Russia all these platforms don't work. If I wanna hear new music i only have Spotify with an account for Brasil or Turkey region ( I'll pay x3 price for it), or just use some local streaming service with Kremlin censorship and songs about how great is war.

You can buy music directly, you can buy merchandise. There are many ways to support your favorite artists. But without Spotify algorithms i simply never know about many many small singers. It's not as bad like you think.

Musicians are the intelligentsia.

I dunno, kinda like 5 dollars a month. Anyway it's better for artists to have some money from subscriptions then zero if I don't pay anything.

But Spotify is not free, I pay for subscription
