History rhymes. Back in the 30s and 40s, a lot of American politicians actually sided with the Nazis, and others like you did what they could with limited power. I just wish it didn't always have to be like this, we should be able to stop evil when we see it.

Getting out in front of that makes them look like the hypocrite. Trying to pretend it's okay when Pelosi does it because technically it's legal makes YOU look like a hypocrite. Get it yet?

All I'm saying is this can't be working for them. There is no way that this specific aspect of their videos is actually proving beneficial to their numbers in any way, shape, or form, I refuse to believe it. In this "give me what I want now or I'll find it somewhere else" culture? Come on.

All you have to do is show a short clip from whatever the clickbait happens to be, then you can go through your schpiel and eventually show the full thing -- but if I can't even see what you've promised, and I'm waiting 5-6 minutes to hear or see anything about it, I'm going to get annoyed.

And look, I'm a leftist and overall I value what these two do -- we're on the same side here -- but this kind of content creation isn't natural, it doesn't flow well, and it feels/appears just as carefully crafted to accomplish a specific goal as it almost certainly is. It feels phony.

The only effect is that now I'm searching through your videos to find the specific content I want from them and ignoring the rest of it.

You're not convincing me to stay engaged on your video by making me wait for the entree. I would not be surprised if your analytics show this to be the case.

Generally speaking, if you don't show people the content you promised immediately, they will click off the video and they might even be less likely to trust you as a source.

Forcing them to wade through a bunch of other news first before getting to the point just makes people want to stop watching.
