You can significantly impact lives locally to those in need, communities or individuals, without directly opposing a political regime. He has done that his entire life. He still lives in his modest home in Omaha. We should all be doing that in whatever way we can.

Well he’s 95 years old now, his trust is being handed down to his children for their use in charitable work only.

I do the veterinary work for a cat rescue in my town and it’s been an incredible experience. I love working with feral tomcats from spaying/neutering to dental work to taming them for adoption. They’ve been tough cats in their life, but they turn into total loving balls of mush.

You don’t publicly advertise you’re a vet because we non-stop get bombarded with pet questions. Accounting is safe and boring. Our prices that WE pay have skyrocketed like all else. I’m fearful what his 100% drug tariffs will bring to my clients as that is a large portion of our generic drugs.

Really military in general, especially the young, newer enlisted. Getting married means you get extra allowances for food and housing and you get to move off base and out of the dormitories. Or may mean your partner will get full benefits as a spouse whereas a girlfriend/boyfriend get none.
