Block ICE's $2M Contract for Invasive Spyware to Protect Civil Liberties
Text SIGN PUBKCM to 50409 — I urge you to take immediate action to block ICE's $2 million contract for Graphite spyware from Paragon Solutions. This powerful hacking tool, capable of infiltrating any mobile phone and encrypted applications like WhatsApp and Signal, represents a grave threat to civil liberties and privacy rights of innocent Americans. The first Trump regime initiated this alarming expansion of surveillance capabilities, and it's worth noting that the Biden administration made efforts to restrict government use of spyware, even placing a rival company, NSO Group, on a Commerce Department blacklist. This recent decision by the second regime is deeply concerning, given ICE's history of alleged rights violations. The agency's access to such invasive technology poses an unacceptable risk of abuse and overreach. Graphite's ability to breach encrypted communications undermines the very foundations of digital privacy. Its use has already been linked to targeting journalists and activists in Italy, demonstrating the real-world dangers of putting such tools in government hands. Furthermore, relying on foreign-made spyware introduces significant counterintelligence risks that cannot be ignored. Congress must exercise its oversight authority to prevent this Orwellian expansion of government surveillance. The potential for misuse far outweighs any purported benefits. By allowing ICE to deploy Graphite, we risk creating a surveillance state where no citizen's private communications are truly secure. I implore you to act swiftly to block this contract, protect the privacy rights of all Americans, and demand a full congressional investigation into ICE's surveillance practices. The integrity of our democracy and the fundamental right to privacy hang in the balance. Do not let the United States take another step towards becoming a Big Brother state.

Wolves in Alaska need your voices!

Public comments on Board of Game proposals are due by Dec 27 + there are several that target wolves. Some call for extending trapping seasons and one especially egregious proposal would allow ADFG to kill 73-80% of wolves in one unit.
