Good Devils Don’t Play Fair With Evil was a slick one-shot, White House Robot Romance has been a really sweet, topical miniseries so far, each new issue of Assorted Crisis Events never fails to utterly knock it out of the park, and Universal Monsters: Invisible Man has been a stellar character study

universal monsters: invisible man was a fun miniseries. not my favorite, but a nice character study on jack griffin before he embraces the monster within him, that adds a nice layer of context to stuff that happened off-screen in the original movie.

a core facet of crusader’s character i’ve explored before (in night rituals, teddy, and even a bit of lone gunman, but lone gunman is old and probably bad and i don’t really recommend it much), and will continue to explore, is how uncomfortable he is talking about his past, so, no, he really isn’t.

gonna need a bit more out of the minotaur before i can pass proper judgement on him, because this issue was a little lackluster, but i love well dressed, intelligent villains in faceless masks, so i can’t really find it in my heart to hate him just yet

really loving the focus on magni in the newest issue of mortal thor. he feels distinct and unique, but also has a lot of echoes of his father in the way he acts and presents himself. depending on how this story plays out, i wouldn’t be surprised if act 3 of ewing’s thor saga was centered around him.

maybe a little late to introduce a new supporting character in stormy book 1, but there's already a couple characters here who weren't in draft 2, and i just had a great idea for how to use this guy later on and for how to finally end chapter 5, so fuck it we ball, baby
