I am not sad that we are about to get five million pop-action musicals.

But. It does feel a bit personal that Trump's stupid tarrifs and his stupid USDA firings have had the effect of making avocado toast truly expensive. As if he is specifically targeting avocado-toast loving people.

There is a strange perfection to the way my toddler releases a toy he is done playing with. There is no malice, and yet the sense of banishment is not undermined. There is no hesitation in the way he extends his arm and relaxes his grip.

His technique is flawless.

FYI- If anyone has Amazon ebooks they want to make sure never get disappeared, "Calibre" is the program to use. Download the books to something (a pc or kindle) and then convert them to non-amazon restricted formats like pdf or epub.
