Today's soup. Scotch broth. One of my all time favorites. I love pearl barley and the combination of the lamb and spices makes for a really tasty mix.

Managed the pool this morning, but not managed to get warm after the trip back... So it's a bowl of lovely hot soup with crackers for dinner. Cream of tomato. Comfort food...

Had an unexpected invite for a proper Danish Jul dinner with my lovely Hinckley friends this evening.(with additional blanketpiggies) alt text for the deliciousness on the plates!
Always lovely to see them and grateful to have been included. Now back in HB watching Violent Night.

This is my spoon count today... Pretty similar to the entirety of the last week, i.e. I have none. 5 is the minimum number, and I just don't seem to be recovering during sleep at all.

so - I spent the last week-ish in Estonia. Completely new, and really interesting. there will be photos at some point I'm sure... and it did wreck me some, but it was worth it. However in spite of the chill/cold and being somewhat wrecked I made it to the pool today. No pool pic, but have rain gear.

I currently have two to-do lists on the go. One priority deadliney stuff, and the other general life laundry. Brain wants to engage in neither of them right now... super annoying.
In other news, long term project is slowly getting going, and I even managed to batch cook a turkey&bean chilli..
