very strong start and interesting worldbuilding for a world that literally molds itself around the narrative... and most importantly, they don’t realize it yet but they’re already married (with a kid) your honor

The world is like a play, and the MC wakes up as a nameless extra. If he doesn’t make himself important in the story, he’ll literally get erased. so he has no choice but to invent a role for himself as a suspicious innkeeper-part-informant and stick by the protagonist’s side
