Oh hey, something else I watched in person with @hellsgalaxy.bsky.social! Really good musical with some very well done animation, but man, without spoiling anything, I just feel sad now

Glad to have Torrian back, and he and the other animators cooked with this one. Easily the better of the two episodes I watched with my girlfriend @hellsgalaxy.bsky.social
Now if we can stop with the returners for a while, that would be greeeeeeeat

50. Fortnite
I certainly get why this has been popular for almost a decade now, but the whole "explore a giant map while looking for action and you have to queue up all over again if you lose" premise isn't my cup of tea personally.

Sprite episodes have been missing from Death Battle for an ungodly amount of time, so to see this reach their standard level of quality makes me happy to finally have that niche filled. Plus this being a new versus show makes me excited for what's to come!

The creativity in the humor was what stuck out to me the most in this movie, but I did also enjoy the story it had to tell too. Glad to finally watch this after only having seen bits and pieces of it previously.

The foreshadowing to later events felt a bit too obvious at times during the first half or so, but other than that, yeah I really enjoyed this movie, and its overall concept. Plus the visuals were great at times too. Glad this was chosen to be a movie night in a friend's server.

In other words, close enough. Welcome back Season 7!

Yeah this was peak. Easily the best live action episode, and up there as one of my personal favorites in the whole show. It's crazy what the standards for the show have become these days.

Finally got my hands on these games after god knows how long, and while they haven't aged the greatest, and FireRed and LeafGreen are objectively better ways to experience Kanto, there was just something about the experience of Gen 1 that I found decently charming.

Yeah I loved this. A fitting episode to be the 200th in the series, but much more importantly, an amazing tribute to Monty Oum. I'm sure he would've enjoyed every second of this episode.

...yeah, I'm sorry, this did not stick the landing for me. The fight felt predictable and the pacing felt off at times, most notably when the time skip happens, and the animation had some jank moments. I appreciate the attempt at story telling though.

I've wanted to have the entire pokedex memorized since I was a kid, but I never really could because there was just so many of them. This website let me finally accomplish that dream even when it was objectively harder now.
Hats off to Charon though, this is a damn good website!

41. Mario Kart Wii (100% Characters, Vehicles, and Time Trials)
I'm not insane enough to go for three stars on every cup lmao. But yeah, I decided to go for full completion, and holy shit this was difficult, but fun and rewarding at the same time!

Admittedly, I've actually never played Lethal Company, but I did have fun with this when I played it with friends, so I may have to consider getting it. The proximity voice chat is so good at immersing you into the experience, and that's what could potentially make this stick with me.

From what little I ended up playing of this, I had a good time. The combat was fun and fast paced and the game looked beautiful. I found the equipment system to be a bit overcomplicated and overwhelming though, but like I said in the post before this, I may come back to this later.

Okay, despite making that thread about how I'm tired of returners (which I still am), I enjoyed this quite a bit. More so than both characters' previous outings. Clearly characterization is one of Cian's strengths as a writer.

This was a lot of dumb fun. Not much else to say on it for right now, but I enjoyed this quite a bit.

Haven't looked at the general consensus for this game yet, but from my own personal experiences with this game so far, yeah it is an absolute blast to play. Not worth $80, sure ( though to be frank, no game is), but worth it if it's bundled with the Switch 2.

Yeah this is easily my favorite game of pack 1. A very solid foundation that I'm glad to see was improved upon in its sequels. Plus, unlike Drawful, I'm not stuck wondering what to put in with any of the prompts, and even if I was, the main goal is to find the truth anyway.

The first entry on this thread I can't really say I liked. Neat trivia and all, but that's if the prompts are true. Besides, I'd go to Fibbage or any of its sequels if I wanted to learn facts about the world in a game that was actually fun. Speaking of...

I think this game has sort of a bad rep? Correct me if I'm wrong on this one. I will say, it definitely feels like a filler entry, but with the right people, it can actually be a fun time, but it can definitely wear itself thin after a while.

Now here's a Party Pack 1 game I enjoyed quite a bit. It's sorta like Fibbage, but with drawings instead of historical facts. Solid foundation overall, though I wish some of the prompts were easier to draw.
