Fun fact, I did this meme to learn how to make my own etchings in wood.
I try to do everything by hand, its harder yes but its a personal touch that gets lost in procedural automation.
Now I have a preset saved and can do this whenever I want. Always adding tools to the arsenal. #gameart #gamedev

Relentless frontier got another big update. Completely reworked city textures, optimized a little further, new props, and other refinements. It is near 100% complete.

Relentless frontier got another big update. Completely reworked city textures, optimized a little further, new props, and other refinements. It is near 100% complete.

I've been layering foliage on the same mountain texture for 5 months now, a little more detailed with each update.
Here's what it looks like now. #gameart #gamedev #indiegame

GZ/UZ Doom is not great in the way it handles textures, and I'm using tricks to play around those limitations.
While I'm impressed with the optimizations I've made so far. I need to know if people with lower end hardware have crashes or other issues. I want to make sure everyone can experience it.
