After yesterday’s Oval Office debacle, democratic nations rejected Trump and Vance’s embrace of Russia and Putin and publicly reiterated their support for Ukraine and President Zelensky. The leaders of Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Moldova, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, the European Council, the European Parliament, the European Union, and others all posted their support for Ukraine and Zelensky.

In London today, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Keir Starmer greeted Zelensky with an enthusiastic hug and in front of cameras told him: "You are very, very welcome here…. As you heard from the cheers on the street outside, you have full backing across the United Kingdom. We stand with you and Ukraine for as long as it may take."

I just received a newsletter from my districts congress woman - I was sick on my stomach after reading it. I've got two screenshots below - one is her newsletter and the second is my response to her directly. How much of this crap are people seeing and how much is hidden behind the huge smokescreen.

Today at the Transatlantic Forum of the CSU we will also be talking about Ukraine and the important issue of the conditions for bringing this terrible war to an end. The matter is of immediate concern to Europe. The people of Ukraine, like us, have the greatest interest in seeing a fair and lasting peace. This is particularly true if the countries of Europe are to guarantee security and take responsibility for reconstruction. We stand firmly by Ukraine. With our many international partners we want to make sure that it can decide from a position of strength the conditions in which all sides lay down arms. Ukraine’s future is also Europe’s future. Thank you for allowing me to be here today.

So I contacted my district "Congresswoman" last Friday (I didn't vote for her either term) about the financial catastrophe going on in the federal government. I got an automated response and a newsletter on what they are focused on in Congress:

National Abortion Ban & Private Education

As your representative in Congress, my top priority is championing legislative initiatives that benefit you and your families. Each week, I review numerous bills and letters, engaging in thorough discussions with members of our community to determine which actions to support and address your needs. Below are a few bills I recently cosponsored.

H.R. 722 – The Life at Conception Act – This bill affirms that the right to life guaranteed by the 14th Amendment extends to every human being from the moment of conception. By recognizing the Constitutional and inalienable rights of the unborn, this legislation provides a foundation to protect life at the federal level. As a mother, I recognize the sanctity of life and I believe that to protect our freedoms, we must protect the lives of those most vulnerable.

H.Res.57 - Recognizing the benefits of natural gas to the United States economy and environment, and recognizing natural gas as an affordable and "green" energy - This resolution recognizes the critical benefits of natural gas to our environment and economy. American produced natural gas is the cleanest in the world, and this resolution affirms the critical importance it plays in driving down costs, and global greenhouse gas emissions.

H.R 817 - Educational Choice for Children Act - This bill provides an annual tax credit to incentivize individuals and businesses to fund scholarships for K-12 students, helping cover tuition, fees, books, and educational supplies for public, private, and homeschool settings. By expanding access to scholarships, the bill empowers parents with greater educational choice, ensuring students—regardless of income or ZIP code—can attend the school that best meets their needs. This approach enhances educational opportunities, fosters competition, and improves overall academic outcomes, giving millions of students a pathway to a brighter future.
