I think they "talk" about their "accomplishments" plenty. Boasting, scornfully bragging, claiming themselves to be heros......

My US Representative thinks we pay him a MASSIVE salary to be a gov't concierge. Since he doesn't realize he's there to make laws that help balance power, I think he should be fired.

So, he might have been in the Army/AF ROTC program, & K State does offer some pre-med courses because of their veterinary school, but KU is the only one of the 2 that has ever had an actual Med School. It has been on Lawrence & KC, but never Manhattan. His "station" might have just been for Basic?

This appears to be the only one for KC, which is a fun thing for me, but since I don't pay for a subscription, I am not a priority. Related: I use the free Roku app more than all others combined. Check it out, you might love it! 😀

It might just be me, & I might be crazy, but I think these 2 bear a very strong resemblance to each other. I don't think they're related, so just more like a doppelganger thing.

My personal 1st choice would be vintage baseball (field or stadium) but if that's not yours, my 2nd would be architectural, preferably an industrial setting. I really like the concept of vintage Manhattan in the background, Brooklyn warehouses in the fore, & the Brooklyn bridge spanning between

Reclaiming a house after the kids move out is a very slow process. It can be painful to process family losses & church trauma as you go through catch-all box after catch-all box of cards, pics, etc. It can also be fun to find things like this: @prairiegirl0028.bsky.social

Made it out of bed. Occupancy delays took the Holiday Reflections out of the equation, which was disappointing, but Jingle was fun despite the cold gray mistiness of the day.
