4. DOCUMENTS REQUIRED: We dive into how to construct the many statements that are required (research, teaching, diversity), how to craft a cover letter, and how to make your CV stand out.

3. IDENTITY & ADVOCACY: We discuss how to create a clear identify of who you are as a scientist and how to sell yourself/your science in a digestible way.

2. WHEN TO LOOK/APPLY: Traditionally, applications are due in October, interviews run January through March, and offers are made between February and May. However, if you miss a deadline, it may still be worth it to inquire/submit.

1. WHERE TO FIND ADS: To start, we discuss where to find job ads and keywords to narrow your search. This includes checking major boards such as Science Careers, Nature Careers, etc. but also checking department websites at institutions you care about.
