Hard to believe it has been 10 years since I posted the first chapter of Evan. I guess it speaks to the characters that they are still with me after a decade. Thank you to all who have supported me, old and new.

Chapter 7 is still in the works. I know there are a few of you who aren't sold on Jake. I am exploring him some more in this chapter and want to do him justice.

Apologies for the delay of the next chapter. I planned a time jump but after the end of Chapter 6 it hasn't felt right, so what I've written for chapter 7 will go into chapter 8 and I am going to be writing a new chapter 7 addressing what happened and its effect on Jake. I'll try to get it out asap.
