My grandfather immigrated to Canada and then the U.S., going back to Canada when WWI started. He was born in Bickleigh,Devon. He was wounded and lost his leg. His brothers and sisters are scattered across the Commonwealth. I stand with those requesting the cancellation of the invitation to Trump.

Our Huey the Long, escaped last November and was gone for six weeks. He was skin and bones when he came home. He is a true cuddle buddy and runs to bedroom when the back door opens.

I find myself shifting between two reactions to everything that is happening; sitting and starring out the window shaking my head or raging and crying to anyone who will listen.

We have the best neighbors. We are 70 and 71, our way of shovelling is it will melt. Our neighbors, one next door, one from up the street, one a Service Member,
one a Federal employee, one Black, one White,
and their two teens cleared our drive and sidewalks before work.
