This is the cost of being a pathological liar. Nobody believes you, even if for once you did tell the truth, which is highly unlikely.

So after posting actively on Threads, Meta already blocked our account and content within less than week. To no surprise calling out socialist government policies exclusively for billionaires and getting their users engaged with that content wouldn't sit well with them.

Anyone else besides me wondering if the breaking point will not be a riot, but a week where everyone just stops showing up?

They don't care one shit about the deficit. All they care about is to retain maximum tax cuts and estate tax exemptions, and keep the working class in survival mode to supply continuous labor to their capital for as cheaply as possible.

The world is $217 T in debt. But who exactly do we owe? The answer is troublingly mundane. Governments borrow from future tax payers. Corporations borrow from future earnings. Countries owing other countries. We all owe ourselves.

A labor strike halts the machine; a lifetime boycott corrodes it day after day in perpetuity. The former still matters, but the latter can be deployed immediately with zero fear of retaliation.

Flash boycotts are weather events, and corporations carry umbrellas for that. But a lifetime boycott is climate change for their balance sheets.

Duration compounds impact: a 3% strike held for ten days outperforms a 10% strike that fizzles after 24 hours.

If the walk-out is highly strategic (hitting logistics, energy, finance, food-distribution, and information infrastructure at once), a lower-bound of ~12 million people ≈3.5% of the US population can tip the system.
