The Signal chat leak should have triggered resignations, investigations, and hearings with real consequences. Instead, it triggered a shrug. Accountability isn’t eroding in the US, it's already gone. What remains is performance, denial, and power protecting itself.

Google’s “Trust me bro” ad strategy continues. Even against their guidelines, Google keeps allowing deepfake scams to circulate as adverts.

No disrespect to the OP here, but the artist who created this bootleg Bluesky ad, Winston Tseng, is awful. Among other things, he has put "art" on the street with images and messages encouraging people to kill themselves. When I pressed him on Instagram about the recklessness of it, he blocked me.
