I am unhinged and sensitive. I admit it. I also admit I have blindspots and privilege, despite the fact that ICE racially profiled my family and deported them.

You gonna comment on Kweli for the racist shit he said about me? Or the fact that he said "Black people can't be racist"?
August 1, 2025 at 12:42 AM
I did listen to him. He said racist things about Latinos. And then he said "Black people can't be racist."

Let me reflect on that.
August 1, 2025 at 12:40 AM
"Black people can't be racist." Nah this interaction with you has proven that wrong. What you said about Latinos was racist.

Telling me Im whitesplaining when I'm 100% Nahua, literally born and raised in Puebla. ICE has destroyed my family. And you're in your nice house telling me about privilege
August 1, 2025 at 12:38 AM
Yeah that's totally fair. In general, most of the people I look up to with whom I've interacted have been really cool. Even had good discourses with them where we disagreed but laughed about it.

This interaction with Talib Kweli is something else.
August 1, 2025 at 12:35 AM
You're the racist with the bullshit you said about Latinos. Where were you when my family were getting arrested and deported, despite having legal status?

A native Nahua disagreed with your post, reiterating something Aaron McGruder commented on in the Boondocks. And you said he's whitesplaining
August 1, 2025 at 12:33 AM
LMAO bro this is such a crazy interaction. I'm a 100% native Nahua, born in Puebla. And Kweli said I'm whitesplaining and to check my privilege, just because I disagreed about R Kelly.

Boondocks literally had an episode where Aaron Gruder expressed his frustrations about that.
August 1, 2025 at 12:30 AM
Because your comment was about Black artists. You want me to link you to the hundreds of comments I have on Twitter targeting MAGA and calling Trump a pedo? You want me to link you to the countless arguments I got into with those POSs when they attack BLM and say racist things about Black folks?
August 1, 2025 at 12:27 AM
What a weird fucking comment. I've stood with Black folks at multiple protests. George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Eric Garner.

All I did was point out that people continued to support R Kelly. I even affirmed that white people do support Trump. And now you're calling me racist.

You're an awful person
August 1, 2025 at 12:26 AM
Racist? If anyone's racist, it's you. Talking about how Latinos are whitesplaining. A rich celebrity telling me to check my privilege, when I have no fucking idea where my uncles and cousins are because Trump's gestapo took them without warning.

I thought we were on the same side but clearly not
August 1, 2025 at 12:19 AM
Never meet your heroes as in this interaction. I'm a huge fan. Always defended you. I just disagreed with a nuance of your original comment.

You could've just clarified what you meant and I would've admitted I'm wrong.

You're so primed to lash out that you're attacking people in your side
August 1, 2025 at 12:16 AM
So true. And your complete lack of self-awareness about your privilege is hilarious. A rich celebrity telling a native Nahua— whose family members are getting deported by ICE— that he's whitesplaining. Weirdo behavior.
August 1, 2025 at 12:13 AM
Then I had a bad take. He could've just told me so, and then clarified is position. I would've been 100% open to admitting if I'm wrong

Instead, Kweli insulted me, told me I'm whitesplaining and to check my privilege when I'm literally 100% Nahua. My relatives are getting deported by ICE. So WTF?
August 1, 2025 at 12:10 AM
Damn, never meet your heroes, I guess. Me being a 100% Nahua means I'm privileged? You're fucking unhinged.

Truly one of the greatest rappers alive but sensitive AF when someone points out a small contradiction.

WTF? I'm Latino. What a weird ass comment. And I had such a chill energy with you so I don't know why you you're being so sassy

And why are you shifting the goal post? You made the point that Black people stopped supporting rapists when allegations came out. R Kelly? Smokey Robinson? Karl Malone?

Did you read your own article? He said it needs to start with compassion for trans athletes. But it's very real that trans women have some competitive advantages over cis women in sports:

That's literally why gender-affirming care at an early age is so important.
Fact check: Do trans women have unfair athletic advantage? – DW – 03/20/2025
Sports federations are making it harder for transgender women to participate in female competitions. Are these steps justified?

I agree with the last part but you're really unaware of your blindspot.

Dave Chappelle even had a bit about how he initially made excuses for Bill Cosby.

R Kelly, who continued to have support over multiple decades. Same with Chris Brown.
