Yesterday, our Boys' U18 A Tennis Team achieved great wins against Altrincham Grammar School, 8-4 (a feat we had never accomplished in 7 years), & Lancaster RGS, 10-2, in the LTA Year 11-13 North of England Championships.

The boys now progress to the knockout stages in January 2026.

Our Director of Marketing & Admissions is in Mexico this week meeting new families and reconnecting with OS.

Did you know the landscapes around Stonyhurst are said to have inspired J.R.R. Tolkien’s Middle Earth?

Tolkien spent time here while working nearby, with names like “Shireburn” and the Ribble Valley countryside thought to have shaped his vision.

Yesterday, we welcomed over 500 runners from 25 schools to our annual Invitational Cross Country.

From Year 3 to Year 13, pupils showed determination, teamwork and outstanding spirit across every race.

A fantastic day of competition and camaraderie on the Stonyhurst estate.

Stonyhurst’s Girls U18A tennis team impressed at the LTA Year 11–13 North of England Championships, securing three strong wins and topping the North West group. They now progress to the knockout stages in January 2026.

Over the weekend, the 1st XV secured a hard-fought 20–17 victory over Ampleforth College.

In a match that ebbed and flowed throughout, Stonyhurst held their nerve and clinched the win with the final kick of the game.

A simple act that reflects our call to be men and women for others as we honour all who have served.

A winning week for Stonyhurst sport.

Hockey, rugby, tennis, and netball teams all impressed — standout results included a 31–26 rugby win over Sedbergh, national tennis success for Annabel, and golden goal victory for the U15 netball side.

Constantin joined the Stonyhurst Summer School in 2024 and loved it so much that he became a full-time pupil.

A strong afternoon for Lower Line Rugby!

Both U14 and U15 squads impressed last week - the U14s beat Cowley International College in the Lancashire Cup, while the U15s won against Liverpool College in Round 2 of the National Plate.
