WHEN ACTION FIGURES WERE REALLY COOL - in 1974 Mego released the 3 “Arch Enemy” figures for Batman, plus a fourth figure, Mr. Mxyzptlk for Superman. Released in both box and carded. They were definitely must have figures!

COFFEE & COMICS - in 1976 my favorite Marvel mag, TOMB OF DRACULA, had the title character finally go “toe to toe” with a Marvel hero. Unexpected turn when Dracula killed both WONG and DR STRANGE! The 70’s were truly the Golden Age of Marvel!

A relaxing Saturday afternoon with all my favorite villains! In the summer of 1975, after 2 issues of Giant Size Super Villain Team-Up, Marvel made it a regular bi-monthly mag. More excitement than 12 year old me could stand !
