Thing is voting Labour/Tory is totally different to voting Reform. How many voted Nat Socialist in 30's Germany & didn't consider themselves to be fascist & that didn't turn out well. His mentor in USA has already tried to overturn the democratic process, don't think it can't happen here

Easy to write a withering piece rather than govern. As I have had it pointed out in the last 24hrs EU wouldn't accept UK back whilst Farage is close to power after I posted Kier should take the plunge&rejoin. He is doing his best with the hand dealt always easy to carp from sidelines (him not you)

Totally respect your opinion, but mine is no intelligent person can vote Reform without realising what they stand for. Controlled immigration is beneficial just as an open borders policy is not, most sensible people understand this & the need to offer asylum to those at risk, we are better than this

Agree with every word but how do you get through to the working class racists (and I know racism isn't exclusive to working class) who are seduced by his racist rhetoric and who provide a massive proportition of support.

We are on the same wavelength, I've thought for a long time Labour & Lib Dems are aligned on many things and should work far more closely together. Now Labour have moved to the centre ground this should not be difficult. They should be urgently prioritising this given the threat to our democracy

I can't contemplate it, hence my erroneous earlier post about rejoining EU, biggest irony is that majority of those supporting him will suffer the most. Just praying tactical voting will deafeat him as it defeated the Tories.

Same here, at some point realism has to kick in. Labour's inheritance was dreadful they have made errors but I do think they are doing the best with the hand they were given. At a push I could suffer Polanski&Corbyn but god help us if Farage gets in, even our European escape route has gone!

Yes, it is just too important as it affects peoples lives, comes from years of being a Sunderland fan. Kier gets a bad press but he has improved EU relations and is trying to further imrove trading relations. Maybe this pragmatic approach is our only way forward, I need to give him more credit

Absolutely populist politicians do not have policies to solve the problems we face they are only good at criticising from the sidelines. Reform have found this out since taking control of local councils it has not been as easy as they claimed to make savings whilst maintaiing services, shambolic!

It is really sad framed as you have just done, it makes you realise what we have had ripped away from us by the likes of Farage, Johnson and the rest of the cabal.

Yep it won't be easy and if Farage is anywhere near to being in power you are right they would not accept us back, what a mess. Maybe Kier realises this and is going for a pragmatic improvement in relations, I need to give him a bit more credit we could rejoin SM &CU in the short term though.

Fair point just after I sent the post I did think would the EU actually have us back after all the trouble we have caused, we certainly wouldn't have the preferential terms we had. I do think they would have us back as it would be beneficial for all concerned.

I really think you've nailed it, Farage needs to be called out now, & as you say Kier needs to stop pandering to leave voters. I like Ed Davy, he is the only one calling out the solution of rejoining and at least he is holding Farage's feet to the fire, Trump too come to think of it!

I really cannot disagree with that analysis, even as a Labour supporter, we need to reverse Brexit now, to hell with the sun, express, mail, & telegragh propaganda crap, & also the red wall voters, no matter what the majority of whom will support Farage due to his dog whistle racist views.

Thanks mate well said, if you are PM & all evidence shows its harming UK, just go for it, its his duty to do whats best for UK. I like Kier just wish he would stand up to msm, I believe majority would back him. How Farage isn't held to account over this act of self harm to our society is beyond me!

He is so unpopular at the moment he should go for broke and try to get the UK back into the Customs Union & Single Market. Hopefully the increase in growth could be invested in public services and reduction of energy bills & the majority of the population may see what a disaster Brexit has been.

So well said, he truly is a loathsome man, it mkes you wonder what values were instilled in him as a child. It would be better for everyone if he emigrated to Russia or America.

It is just the constant bias of the media against Labour, it really does get a bit tiresome, after the scandal, outright corruption & sheer incompetence of the last administration you would think they might have given Starmer a fair chance to see if he could be an improvement, some hope!

He is the ulimate conman, 'the man of the people'. If the working class (I am in this category) vote him in then we will deserve to suffer all the consequences of which there will be many. He is the equivalent of Truss/Kwarteng on steroids!
