Living on an island at the edge of America making art and making art matter.
The coast guard came to town today with guns on their hips and bullet proof vests. Their assignment? To distribute dinghy ID stickers to the Harbormaster. Why do dinghies need more than their HIV? (Like cars VIN) If I had any doubts, they are gone. We are now on the verge of a military occupation.

Go to your State Capitol building. Meet with the people who represent you. Tell them that you need help. Advocate for yourself, your family, your work, and your community. Then follow up and hold them accountable. Anyone can do it.

We are working with a great contractor to build a studio. It has been a lifelong dream to design a space that will hold and foster creative energy. Lots of work to be done, electric, interior surfaces, and flooring. Plumbing has to wait until spring thaw :-)

How cold is it? Gilly says cold enough to snuggle in a wool blanket. @theweatherchannel.bsky.social says 25 degrees F with winds blowing NW at 17 knots. That’s 20 mph for you landlubbers.
