This is the first time as an A.E. of JGR-SE that I have highlighted a paper. The paper, a purely methodological one, really deserved it. The job they did is fantastic, but importantly we should sampled better in paleomagnetism ⚒️ #geosciences
AND I managed to make a rock-and-roll reference again 😀
Should I Stay or Should I Go…To Another Paleomagnetic Site? - Eos
When collecting a finite number of paleomagnetic samples, having more sites, each with only one sample, achieves superior results compared to sites with multiple samples.

Jobalert : 10 PhD candidates spanning a wide range of geophysics-related topics (www.asg.ed.tum.de/iapg/uplift/...). Number P3 is of interest for the palaeomagnetic community. It relates magnetic anisotropy to uplift through modern-day case studies.
